Paul Drummond PLA
Paul is a Maryland native; his experience and inspiration derives from an exposure to Maryland’s diverse landscapes, international travel, along with 12 years of design experience with civic spaces, museums, housing, campus, and planting typologies. Paul focuses on attention to detail, and progressing projects through the design development process.
Paul has worked for inter-disciplinary design studios for the last 12 years, in Baltimore and New York City, most recently working for Snohetta. He has been published in Landscape Architecture Magazine on the topic of wildlife crossings, and has presented on the topic at national conferences such as ICOET & ASLA. Paul received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland, and currently resides on his family farm in Maryland, with his family.
In addition to his contributions at Unknown Studio, Paul owns and operates his family farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, on which he produces organic crops for local markets, millers, distilleries, and breweries. When not found on the farm, you can find Paul canoeing the local waterways.
