Libby Loughrey Landscape Designer

Libby found landscape architecture by way of art-making and land-scaping. Over the past 15 years, she has participated in land-based work as a gardener, farmer, and landscape designer across New England, Mid-Atlantic, and California landscapes. Her hands-on work experience has instilled a deep respect for the labor upon which every living landscape is built. As a designer, Libby looks to the physical and experiential aspects of landscapes—the ways in which spaces are crafted, maintained, and inhabited by people. Libby holds a Master’s degree in Ecological Design from the Conway School and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.

She is pleased to join Unknown Studio and excited to work on projects that add to the quality of everyday life by way of grand gestures and small details.
