Unknown Studio to Lecture at University of Texas at Austin

On Monday, January 28, Unknown Studio Principal and West 8 Consulting Principal Claire Agre will kick off the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture’s 2019 Spring Lecture Series. Claire will be presenting a lecture entitled “New World,” a sampling of recent work, glimpses into her design approach, and thoughts on wearing many hats and staying flexible in order to realize world-class landscape designs that fundamentally improve the life and liveliness of the public realm.
She is honored to be amongst other speakers this spring including Yale University’s Dean of Architecture Deborah Berke, Martin Buckbaum Professor in Practice of Urban Planning at the GSD’s Joan Busquets, and Michael Murphy, Founding Principal of MASS Design Group.
The Spring 2019 Lectures and Exhibitions series will address some of the design disciplines’ most pressing challenges, present innovative perspectives on the future of design, and celebrate leaders that have paved the way for change. The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture houses a diversity of design degrees and programs including Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Community and Regional Planning and Architectural History.
